The communities for which healthcare organizations operate are rapidly diversifying. Healthcare organizations are not only dealing with a diverse demographic of patients and families, but are also faced with an increasingly diverse workforce. This diversity is exhibited in a number of ways, including nationality, race, religion, language, age, and physical ability.
